U5.1 - I can relate momentum to mass and velocity and calculate the linear momentum of objects.
U5.2 - I can apply the impulse-momentum theorem and relate it to force, time, and change in momentum.
U5.3 - I can apply conservation of momentum 1D elastic and inelastic collisions and 2D inelastic collisions.
U5.4 - I can analyze situations where objects are pushed apart by a spring or other mechanism and determine how much energy is released in the process.
Students will be tested on standard U5.3.
