Unit 1: Scientific Reasoning
In our first unit we will be learning about scientific reasoning. We will be conducting experiments to learn about experimental procedure, collecting data, analyzing data, and analyzing relationships between variables.
Standards
SR1 - I can identify
linear, quadratic, and inverse relationships from experimental data, draw a
best fit line, and write its science
equation.
SR2 - I can describe the physical meaning of the constant and y-intercept for a relationship between variables.
SR3 - I can use scaling rules and proportionality statements to solve problems and make predictions.
