What is modeling instruction?
Modeling instruction is a set of instructional strategies that permit students to experiment, discover, and apply content themselves. Modeling classrooms are much more hands-on than a traditional classroom. Students use lab notebooks and whiteboards to work in groups and solve problems.
The video below was put together by Mrs. Nester (Griffin) and myself to give parents and students are better picture of modeling instruction and exactly what takes place in our classrooms. Please take the time to watch the video!
